What is an articulation agreement?

Concordia University maintains articulation agreements with several institutions of higher learning. These agreements give students opportunities to begin their studies elsewhere and transfer to Concordia University to complete a bachelor's or master’s degree.

An articulation agreement is a signed document guaranteeing credit transfer from the completion of a degree program at a Wisconsin Technical College or other university to a specific university major at Concordia. All classes outlined in the articulation agreement must be completed. Partial credit transfer may not be awarded.

Wisconsin Technical College System Agreement

To assist Wisconsin Technical College students in furthering their academic and career goals, Concordia University participates in a course-to-course agreement with Wisconsin's 16 Technical Colleges. The WAICU-WTCS Course Credit Transfer Agreement (CCTA) is designed to ensure a smooth transfer process for WTCS students who wish to pursue a degree at Concordia University. The courses in the agreement will satisfy general education or general degree requirements when applicable. Students are responsible for confirming that these courses transfer to their intended major and can request a free transfer evaluation to get started.

Concordia University Wisconsin welcomes technical college students seeking to transfer their credits and associate degrees towards the pursuit of Baccalaureate Degrees offered by Concordia University Inc. Concordia University Wisconsin accepts up to 84 transfer credits from WTCS, which provides a seamless pathway for students to further their education and career goals.
