  1. Scholarship dollar amounts are examples based on three-credit courses. Actual amount per credit may vary
  2. Students must reapply for the scholarship each academic year
  3. Application must be submitted prior to the end of the first week of class and will not be retroactively applied to any course after the first week of class
  4. Scholarships for eligible, registered classes should usually disburse to your student account within one week of the financial aid office receiving your approval email
  5. Course completion is required to receive the scholarship
  6. Scholarships are not "stackable" with each other, other Concordia tuition discounts or Concordia scholarship programs

Your employer may offer tuition reimbursement, minimizing the cost to you. Ask your HR department if you are eligible.

Answers to a few frequently asked questions about scholarships and partnering with Concordia.

What delivery formats are available for a student to take classes?

Classes are offered in two formats. The first format is virtual, and the second format is online.

Virtual
These interactive classes meet once a week and are conducted virtually by Zoom technology. Virtual classes are not offered during the weekend.

Online
Students have accessibility to the class curriculum 24/7 through Blackboard, Concordia’s learning system software, and can complete homework at their convenience. A student choosing this format must be self-motivated to meet the class requirements.

What documents do I need to provide during the application process?
  • A completed online CUW application. Apply here
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Official high school transcript if less than 60 earned college credits
  • If you are an active-duty military person or a Veteran, an official Joint Service Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript. For military service before 1981, a DD 214 document must be provided
Can I apply for Federal Financial Aid and what is the Concordia code for FAFSA?

Yes, if you are interested in accessing financial aid, Concordia University Wisconsin’s school code is 003842. Make sure you are applying for the academic aid year in which you will be attending.

What are some other financial options for students besides the Business Community Partnership Scholarship?
  • Your employer might offer tuition reimbursement. Check with your employer about your options.
  • If you are an active-duty military person or veteran, there are options for you. Military/Veteran page.
  • Uncommon Scholarships are available exclusively for adult and post-traditional learners. Uncommon Scholarships page.
  • We offer payment plans to help assist with your tuition payments.
