Program Overview

A good art teacher is creative. A great art teacher encourages their students to explore their inner selves, the external world, and the relationships between them. The Art Education major at Concordia University Wisconsin prepares future teachers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to teach visually and perceptively. You will learn the power of using faith as a part of education in both public and private settings and promoting the engagement between art and theology. With a degree in art education at Concordia, you will have the opportunity to explore different teaching styles and environments to pave the way to a successful and rewarding career in education.
